Tracts located by assignees, 1802-1804.

Volume contains statements that individuals were locating tracts as assignees of the original claimants. Locations were made under instruction from the Governor of the Northwest Territory. Each statement includes names of original claimant and assignee; statement date; number of acres located; and a tract description (e.g., existing timber; sites suitable for water mills; adjoining creeks and rivers).
